Product Summary:

The E3Switch WAN Monitors allow the HDLC/PPP data of a T3/DS3/E3 WAN to be easily monitored/recorded via output to an Ethernet port. Inline capability alleviates the need for additional WAN tap-hardware if desired. Dual WAN inputs allow monitoring of WAN traffic in each direction.

E3Switch converters provide several important features that customers will appreciate and which aren't found in competing products. LAN output is available in a variety of formats including GbE/GigE, jumbo, SFP, and optical. Fanless operation and extremely low part-count design allows use with greater reliability and in harsher environments. NEBS Level 3 multicard chassis are available.

Management functions include both comprehensive SNMP statistics with link up/down and DS3 FEAC notifications as well as one-click HTTP, user-friendly, color-coded monitoring of link operational status and bit-error rate.

Robust frame-lock algorithms maintain link stability and high-BER tolerance on noisy paths such as multi-hop microwave.
